A pilot project to establish and evaluate a tobacco cessation quit line in Bangladesh.

About the study

Tobacco use remains a significant public health challenge in Bangladesh. This pilot project adopted a stepwise approach to establish and evaluate a tobacco cessation quit line. It resulted in the adaptation of a country-specific tobacco quitline service protocol, training manuals, and successfully supported 210 tobacco users to quit across 310 UHCs.
